I'd wipe that smile right off his face!!!!!!!!!!
After crossing the line of scrimmage and throwing that "back-yard" underhanded pass for a penalty,,then to see him smile.. :cursin:
Then all the announcers who stay up his arse all game talk about how loose he is.
He could have run for a first down,,but he doesn't care.
I'd yank him and put in an offensive guard at QB! :cursin:

Thought the same thing. Why not keep the ball and have it 4th and goal at least from the 3 yard line? At least there are options to still score a TD, and worst case scenario is to have a field goal attempt from 10 yards closer that surely would be successful. Bad judgement of favre's behalf.

Alright, the situation is enough to get Favre into the game. He is an idiot with that smile and playground toss.
But, if he doesn't get into this game he should call it a great career.

Tough 4th Q.
Can a bad playing Favre take care of a traditional choke team.

I smell a comeback.

Okay, maybe Favre isn't throwing this game,,that's a very big accusation,,however, is he just that bad?
Either way, he didn't want this game and the Vikes did.
Good luck to all the rest of the way.

One thing I did notice was line move 6.5-to 6 very late odd move that late enough to sway my play . Maybe somebody knew more than we thought. Bret on the take dont know Bret not having his head the game maybe.

Get a clue he is down to a punt returner and a practice squad player as receivers. His best offensive lineman Clifton is out, the backup center has to play at left guard, the right tackle has to move to left tackle, and a rookie has to come in at center. The problem is packer defense. If you think it is Favre you are brain dead

That JR. High play at the goal line in the first half was all I needed to see to tell he was ready to go home for the off-season. That was a horrible play and his smiling was all-telling.
Yes, I think it was Favre that set the tone for this average team to stink it up.
That's my clue.

On the course!
I was there.....just got back. I sit in that endzone, and we were all pissed, but it was just another example of a player not knowing the situation.

I believe he wanted to run it in, saw he probably couldn't, and panicked a bit. He tossed the ball, not thinking he was three yards past the line of scrimage. He also lost sight of the fact that the two yard line was a first down. He was a dive away from that, as he threw the ball on the three!

Everyone in the stands knew he was running for the 1st down, and we knew he was going to make it.........we were all right, but he decided to prove us wrong.

That was the game, IMO.

agree 100%.
sure favre had a poor game and looked like his head was not in the game, but he is not to blame. all the blame must go to blitzing bob slowik and mike sherman. slowik has the worst defensive scheme imaginable and by the time he adjusts the score is 24-10 halfway through the third. then he see's moss limping around and pulls the safety off him. that resulted in a mooning. good idea retard. this team was damn fortunate to win the division and make the playoffs considering the mastermind behind the d. when some of the players were asked about their most memorable defensive games this season, all they could get out was "week 1?" slowik will be canned very soon.

as for sherman:
poor play calling today. the pack could have ran the ball and screen passed the ball down minn throats all day. this then would open the longball up and keep his paper thin d off the field. gb needed to control the ball to win this game. favre has had some of the worst games of his career when trailing and asked to force the ball down the field. some of this i would put on poor decision making and some on just not having wr's throughout his career good enough to play this way.shermans 2nd error and proboably the largest was made before the season started. that was keeping two punters on the roster. that finally caught up to them today. with ferguson already out and walker going down early in the game, gb was eft with driver, chatman, and a rookie scrub just signed to play wr. throw in the depleted o line and i dont think any of montana, marino, or elway could do much better. sure would be nice to have that roster spot now to have... i dont know, maybe a wr or o lineman or any other position besides punter. who keeps two punters? are punters really that hard to find?

so get off favres back. players have bad games, especially when put in bad positions. this team would have been thinking about who to take with one of the top 5 picks in the draft without him and when he does retire that will be reality.

now his season is over and he can put his mind where it belongs, where it may have been today, with his wife and her fight against breast cancer.
thanks for another great season.

And just think... The Saints (the hottest team in the NFC) could have been there for Favre's brainlock instead of Minny. But noooooo! Minny couldn't beat a good defense in Washington nor will they beat a good D in Philly.
Sorry, just a venting Saints fan.
