I just HATE it when Professor's do this... For example I had an exam today from 11:30AM t0 1:30PM on Family law....

He gives us an outline indicating that the exam will be on chapers 1-14, and those were the chapters that we worked on throughout the year in class.

Well fawk me, last question on the exam which was 15% of the final had nothing to do with any of the above mentioned chapters.

BOY I AM PISSED, depending on my mark I may file a complaint....

PROFESSOR HASSAM IS A DICK AND A DINK:moon:

that is bullshit...spend week studying for an exam which is your whole grade in law school and the question dosent reflect any of the material you covered or were told would be on the exam...I would request a sit down with this prof. ...law school grades are no joke ....i bet your losing sleep over it..i know that feeling ....in the end i hope you get a good grade...cooz

I have a better/ worse one, in one electronics class there was a quiz worth 5%, well I did not do that well, and the teacher decided after the marks were in to make it worth 20%, most of the class did better and did not want a test so we had a vote. so the 5% quiz became a test worth 20%. did okay in the class however will never forget that day.

thanks

we must have the same professors. I know the feeling. The questions have nothing to do with what you were asked to study from. Lucky for me he curbs the test because no one can ever get over a "D". I had 30 wrong out of 50 and still got a B+.

hey TTM $$, where do you go to LS and what year are you? How are the job prospects both for full-time and summers? Is it as tough as they say? I'm taking the LSAT on Saturday and will start next fall if everything goes as planned.

Louddog,

you get 20 out of 50 and end up with a B+?
May I have the Prof's name please, would LOVE to enroll in his courses:D

Parlayinn,

I wish you the best of luck on Saturday. Is this your first time writing it? I have loads of info and tips I could give you, I am sure you already have looked into this...but if not, get my email from Jack and I will send you the goods....

In terms of landing a job, I will be working for my dad's lawyer as soon as I am out of law school. Then after 2-3 years of experience, I shall start up my own practice....

I go to York University Law School in Toronto
