I have a final tomorrow... and the professor loves being a dik head... so he loves asking bullshit questions... if anyone knows these... please help me out... he sent out an email w/ about 75 questions... and said 40 will be on the test... I have found the majority of them... but I'm so damn tired of searching and reading....

Biggest challenge facing FBI infrastructure:

Traditionally this has been cyber crime/hacking. The challenge has different forms... from being vulnerable to attack from the outside and losing fbi information to not being able to recruit people who are skilled enough to defend against it.

What is the title of an FBI Special Agent working with a foreign police force or intelligence service?

I'm pretty sure this agent is known as a "legat"

I think it is concerning the ability of the FBI to be able to observe and collect private information on people and conduct surveilance with less oversight by the government.

what event in the past caused this? i dunno. probly search for something back in the 70's when they had some issues.

In addition to its field offices across the United States, the FBI has 45 offices known as Legal Attach?s or "Legats" located around the world. Legats are our first line of defense beyond our borders. Their goals are simple-to stop foreign crime as far from American shores as possible and to help solve international crimes that do occur as quickly as possible.

To accomplish these goals, each Legat works with law enforcement and security agencies in their host country to coordinate investigations of interest to both countries. Some Legats are responsible for coordination with law enforcement personnel in several countries. The purpose of these Legats is strictly coordination; they do not conduct foreign intelligence gathering or counterintelligence investigations. The rules for joint activities and information-sharing are generally spelled out in formal agreements between the United States and the Legat's host country. The entire worldwide Legat program is overseen by a Special Agent in Charge located at FBI Headquarters.
