South Dakota State +3 and Money Line +130; If anyone is going to beat James Madison this year it is going to be a team like SDSU that can attack you in every facet of the game. They have a great qb, rb's, and Wr/TE... and their kick is Chase Vinatieri the brother of Adam. I love SDSU as a dog here. I am really surprised. I expected the line to be a pk or even SDSU a slight favorite.
Texas A&M Commerce -7- Commerce is led by the most accurate passer in College; Luis Perez. If Luis was at Florida State or Alabama they would be in the national title game and Luis would be in line to be the number one draft pick. He is lethal. Accurate, great spin, great arm strength... Just awesome. West Florida is the team that should not be here but they are. Great defense and a good run game and a lot of luck. Commerce is bigger, stronger, and just a really dominant type team. The good thing also is Commerce does not turn the ball over a lot or have a lot of fucking stupid penalties.
Mary Hardin Baylor -3: Mount Union is the sexy team who has been here over and over and over but Mary Hardin Baylor is the defending national champs. They have a lock down dominant defense and an offense that does o.k. Mount Union has not seen a defense like this. Their starting QB is a true soph and I think he is in for a shock. MHB has men on defense. MHB -3
This Mary Hardin Baylor team is like the Baltimore Ravens when they played the Giants in the super bowl. They are BY FAR the best defense in division three. They are dominant. But their offense is garbage. They have allowed ten sacks the last two games and really really have an offense that is awful. Young qb. They have rode this defense all the way to the title game. I cannot emphasize how good this defense is.
Mount Union... they have the most prolific offense in the nation. Their qb has a 70% completion percentage and they have not scored less than 43 so far in the playoffs (except for wind/snow impacted `1st playoff game 21-0) and average 53.3 ppg
Mount unions offense is awesome. They were down 35-10 last week and came back to win 43-40. Incredible game. Mount Union is so good.
So- what do we have? Number 1 vs Number 2. Best defense in the nation vs best offense in the nation. This game is going to be fucking AWESOME... but it could also be a low scoring boring 17-14 game. Mary Hardin Baylor defense is sooo amazing. Mount Unions offense is sooo amazing.
