Easy to forget about this game as there is a lot going on (plus the ridiculous break between the semi finals and the finals).
I am on JMU and the ML but I am waiting to play the game as I think this line may move even higher. These games do not typically start getting a lot of action until game day so I am expecting some more N Dakota money to come in, especially since they have blown everyone out so far.
I think the layoff benefited N Dakota more than JMU, and if this game had been played a week after the semifinals like it should be, I would have pounded JMU.
In the end though, I still think JMU's defense and athleticism wins out. They can cover man to man as well as anyone in the country and stop the run on defense which will put a lot of pressure on the North Dakota QB, who is prone to mistakes against tough defenses. As long as JMU takes care of the ball, they should win this game.
N. Dakota thrives at home and had an easier road to get to the final than JMU, which is why this line is off in my opinion. This game should be a Pk at best, so I will gladly take the points and the ML, but again, will wait to see what happens to the line in the morning.
