Good Hit!

Some real interesting games today. I have some wagers that I placed at 5d before I was booted. I played
Ferris State Under
Mary Hardin Baylor Under
Wisconsin White Water +7 and Moneyline- Believe it or not UW WW is 5-0 vs MHB. This is going to be a slobberknocker and the weather will be involved. Wind and rain,
I played Mount Union but the number I got is no where available to I am not going to post it. John Hopkins is not a slouch but Mount Union is special. This is going to be a great game but I see Union winning by DD.

FCS:
Colgate Over 41.5- This is antithetical to what I have been playing with Colgate this year but the way Colgate plays they will go all out. They will not roll over. NDSU players may be starting to realize that this last run with Kleinman is most likely the last as he will go on to replace Snyder at K st.

Kennesaw State +9.5, 7.5

Kennessaw State Under 61.5- Rain is going to be a factor. The field is natural turf but rain will impact this game. SDSU like to battle, hit etc- But I am telling you KSU will be in this game. Last vs SHSU KSU was handled but I believe the Owls matchup well here. I think this could be an awesome 20-18 type game.

UC Davis vs EWU: Spread is where I do not want to mess with it. I lean to 1st half Over, 3rd quarter Under and game over... But not sure there. Eastern Washington will win this game.

EWU, Mount Union, and Ferris State MOneyline parlay pays close to even.

If Heritage gives me lines for the D2 and D3 games I will be parlaying EWU and Mount Union moneylines for the max.

Thats all I got. Have a great night.

Sat FCS:

EW -9'.......5 u *Aggies are a feel good story having won their first playoff win in Aggies History and Dan Hawkins has them believing....I know the Hawkins family pretty well as Dan grew up in Big Valley, CA (known as Bieber) and he has done well for himself with a successful job at Boise but with less stellar seasons in CFL and Colorado, Dan played a couple of years at Davis after playing at Juco Siskiyous.....I believe He has a good X and O mind but without the studs to play with in Colorado, it cut short his tenure..... So now he's back at his Alma Mater and his team has been impressive on Offense but Aggie D although improving is still a work in progress....

E Wash put the hurt on the Aggies 59-20 a month ago... And I'm not sure much will change here... Usually I love teams trying to get revenge but EW is loaded on both sides of the ball and Hawkins will need a perfect game from QB J Maier and WR Kelan Doss but like Hawkins in his hayday at Boise and the Smurph Turf, Eagles have a red turf in Cheney which should be a great advantage and while I don't expect Eagles to win again by 39, I do think a win by 10+ looks good.

Colgate TT Over 7'.......4 u.. LOSS... Hats off to NDSU pitched a shut out *Musca is playing the Over here and it should get there but I really like Raiders to get at least 10 in this game.... And I'm leaning to Colgate +25....Look, I get it... Bison have won 6 of the last 7 National Championship and are only FCS team to go undefeated through the regular season....

Raiders have one loss to a pretty good Army team 28-14 and Colgate was perfect against FCS Competition and won their final 7 league games without allowing a TD........ I have been keeping an eye on Colgate and really like their D... It's asking a lot to go in to FargoDome and get a W however despite Bison D being statistically as dominant, I think it's reasonable that Colgate gets the TT over.....

Kennesaw St +7'........4 u

Kennesaw St/South Dakota St Under 56'...4 u

Musca and I are on the same page on this one.... Like Colgate, I have had my eye this Owl team as they made me some money this year and the book never really adjusted to this program week in and out..... Owls are making their 2nd playoff appearance in their 4th season of football... They were undefeated against all FCS opponents this year.. Owls average 45 ppg and rush for 356 yards per game.... Owl D gives up barely 14 ppg....

SDSU is making its 7th straight playoff appearance and despite losing a sizeable Senior Class from last year, Jack's have reloaded and seem to be better than last year's version which made it to the Semis.... SDSUs Defense is fast and hits hard......Jack's were only team to almost upset NDSU after going into the 4th q with the lead...... Jack's last played a Triple Option 2 years ago against Cal Poly and couldn't adjust, so it will be interesting to see if they learned anything.

Tomorrow's game calls for rain (90%)so I jumped on the Under despite recognizing that Jackrabbits have played last 2 games in winter weather and scored 100 points.... I'm thinking the Triple Option keeps the chains moving and wouldn't be shocked if Owls pull off the upset.

Ferris St/MSU-Mankato Under 56......4 u

Lean to Ferris -7

*It's pretty cool that the four finalist for D II Semis are all undefeated... What's really cool is the book throwing up 56 for the total when both teams haven't come close to the number in each of their last 2 games... Ferris is traveling to Mankato and its going to be numbing cold... Mavs played last week in a blizzard and walked away with a W against Tarleton 13-10....(they beat Col St in opener winning 24-10....Mavs entered the tournament undefeated for the second straight year... Harlon Hill candidate Nate Gunn has rushed for his 2nd straight year with a 1,500+ yards... He has 21 TDs to go with his yards...QB Ryan Shlichte has passed for 1,800 yards w/18 TDs, although I expect a big run attack... Mankatos 13-0 record brings its total to the 3rd most wins in D2 History since 2010.

Ferris St are 14-0 and didn't get a opening round bye but beat Harding 21-19, then followed with a 27-21 effort over NWMiss St... Last week, they scored 37 to Ouachita Baptist 14......If they run the table through the National Championship they will be the first team to go 16-0 in D2 History..... This is the Bulldogs 2nd trip to the Semis in past 3 years but have yet to make it to the Championship... Redshirt Jr QB J Campbell is the 2nd of 3 Harlon Hill candidates in the final 4.... Last week Ferris rushed for 357 yards but I don't think Mankato will give up that big number as Minnesota has a elite run D.... Ferris has defeated 5 teams that have appeared in the Top 25 during the season...

With the weather expected a frigid 17 degrees, I really expect the scoring to be a minimum as both teams try to grind out a W..

Notre Dame OH +35.......5 u WIN... Val 30 NDO 24

Valdosta is a scoring machine averaging 54.08 ppg piling up 649 points outscoring opponents 127-37 in first two rounds of the playoffs.... QB Rogan Wells (Candidate for MVP) has passed for 2,592 yards w/32 TDs... He has 3,248 combined yards with total 43 TDs *Interestingly, Blazers don't have a 1,000 yard receivers, and QB spreads it around so no obvious key weapons.... It's also RB by committee with lead RB Jamar Tompkins rushed for 1,112 yards w/8 TDs..... Last week Blazers rushed for 5 TDs utizing several RBs....Valdosta is the #1 seed after the teams were re-seeded last week...

Notre Dame OH will be the strongest test for Valdosta as the D only allows 74.2 rush yards pg (5th best in D2)... Notre Dame Frosh RB Jaleel McLaughlin ( Harlon Hill Candidate in playoffs) has rushed for 2,246 yards and is 2nd to no other Frosh in History of D2.... Falcons hope their #13 best scoring D can slow down the offensive blitzkrieg coming.... Falcons will try to keep chains moving with a heavy dose of McLaughlin...

Yes Valdosta won 66-16 against Bowie and 61-21 over Lenoir Rhyme but winning by 35 is a tough out here and I like NDO to stay within the number

Div III Semis..

Wisconsin Whitewater/Mary Hardin Baylor Under 49'.....3 u

John's Hopkins/Mt Union Under 68.....3 u WIN MU 28 JH 20
*A lot of points but both teams feature prolific offenses so something has to give I guess... The only problem is that both teams feature prolific Defenses too.... Mt Union beat Muhlenberg last week 38-10...The Defending National Champs have 13 Div3 Titles and hold the Nation's longest win streak at 28 games... Purple Raiders Jr QB D'Angelo Fulford leads D3 in the Nation with a rating of 194.6 (only behind Oklahoma K Murray and Bama T Tagovailoa)... Blue Jay's QB Jr David Tammaro is pretty good too with 3,861 pass yards w/35 TDs (67% comp rate).....

Somethings got to give but remember Blue Jay's D only allows 14.7 ppg while Purple Raiders hold at 10.8 ppg.
