My company is about to start designing a color, pocket-size reference guide that will contain every boxscore from the 2006 baseball season, for every major league baseball team.

A separate, unique guide will be manufactured for each of the 30 individual teams. Each individual team guide will contain anywhere from 163 pages (162 games + all-star game) to 174 pages (world series winner + all-star game).

Inside each guide, the front side of every page will have a headline from that team's local newspaper recapping how well / how not so well their team did during that particular game, as well as a picture from a special moment during the game. The back side of each page will have the official MLB boxscore. The all-star game headline / boxscore will be placed directly in the center of each any every individual team guide.

As a baseball fanatic, I think this product has a chance to enter the collectible / licensed merchandise (billion dollar industry) market just like baseball cards ($270 million + industry) or any other collectible located in the MLB.com shop.
I envision this guide being used during fantasy baseball drafts, placed in your pocket on your way to a game to compare the same matchup from last year (if Bonds hit 2 homeruns last year off the pitcher that is starting the game you are at, that will add to your excitement / enthusiasm during that game; maybe get Pedro to autograph his no-hitter boxscore from the previous year), collected over the years as a keepsake to remind you of those special baseball moments (baseball records being broken, the first game you and your child went to the game together).

I would love to hear what everyone has to say. Comments? Thoughts?

My name is Anthony.

Any feedback, good or bad, is greatly appreciated.
