Ahhhh.. one for the books!
Being bored out of my mind out here, I hopped in the car saturday afternoon and went out to Biloxi to play some cards. I sat down at the tables at around 1300. I bought in $100 and started playing 4/8 hold em, won about 70$ in the first 30 minutes and then an omaha table started up and i helped them get it going.
It was 4/8 omaha hi/lo w/half kill... It was 3pm when it started going good... by 8pm I had $650 in front of me... not bad.
Some knucklehead at the table who was one of the 4 fishes there, made some smart ass comment to me about playing my cards and checkraising him time after time... so I picked up my chips and left the table.
I hopped back on one of the 4/8 hold em games... WOW! talk about a fun table! Full table and we were having FUN. Jokes, cards, stories, laughs, drinks... for 1.5 hours we had EVERYONE posting live straddles on every hand they could!
Its not like they could play cards either.. lmao. I took it easy on the boose and ended up sitting to the immediate right of two VERY drunk and loose and rookie players. It was a slaughter. I was going to leave at midnight, but the game was soo good I couldnt! At one point, we had a 20 minute stretch where the LOWEST winning hand was a straight!
So it's like 2a, sundaymorning now and there are 6 of usat the table all goofing off and having fun.

And finally (it was two old guys) one old guy looks at all of us and says...
"If I am raising.. and he is reraising me... the only means one thing..." (to see the look on this guys face when he said this was ****ing PRICELESS.. eyes all lit up.. sh*t eating grin on his face)
And he flips his hole cards over..

"Well SUMB!TCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
and he flips his over

The entire table erupts into cheers and throwing chips in the air and hi- fiving!
Bad beat jackpot? $13,874!
CHA CHING!
We sat around and did shots while they counted it all up.
breakdown was ~$6k to the loser, $3k to the winner and we all got about 900 smackers!
I putzed around for a lil while after that..(it was 8 am by that time) and decided it was time to cash out.
After buying in originally for $100... 19 hours later I punched out with $2350!
playing 4/8!!!!!!!!
Hows that for big bets per hour average!
Just got back and was yabbering to myself teh whole 2 hour drive back home I was so pumped up and had to share it.
