Anybody know where this guy is now?
I tried to Google it and didn't get too far.
Not sure if I'm missing something, but he won the Belmont a couple of years ago (Jazil) and was damn near first call for McLauglin?
I can't find him anywhere.

I found a bit more info:

"In 2007, he switched agents to Gatewood Bell and made another change to Bob Meldahl when he relocated to California.
Injured in a November spill at Hollywood Park in 2007, Jara recuperated and returned to riding in his native Panama. He returned to California in March. "

I don't know what happend in March, I think I remember him going up north to that circuit, but not really sure.
