Its 2.5 months away.

Oklahoma 24 Miami FL 21

OU's performance today was as dominating a performance as I've seen over a top 20 team this year. Much more dominating than Miami's win over Florida. I'm sure this will anger all the UM fans on this site, but do you (Miami fans) feel confident about beating Oklahoma?

OU has incredible defense, and now their Running game has come alive ... however, beating ISU who is what 0-657 vs top teams wasnt that impressive, once a team gets spiraling, the super bowl blowout factor often comes into play ... what they did to seneca might be a warning harbinger to Canes' speed ... you gotta have physical OL to move OU, if you can at all ... If they play, coaching edge def. goes to OU, but will Canes improve until then enuff to offset that ... gotta think their close game vs FSU was wake up call to work even harder ...

that all said, Canes have to win at TENN and beat Hokies, neither will be easy ...

whos best team right now, hard to say ... but I would love to see OU and Canes be perfect and play in Fiesta ...

I think, laff all you want, the Tenn game will be tuffer than Hokies ... Randall better improve thru air if Hokies stand a chance ...

Im rambling, so I will shut up ... and please, these are only comments, if someone gets too bent out of shape, email me at this name on AOL so we dont stink up board ... hehe

Miami won't be there they can't stop the run and Virginia Tech has two backs as good as Jones (who had 200 yrads against them), they will beat Miami straight up remember I told you that!

Robert B Irish-

I hope your right. But OTOH, I'd love to see Oklahoma beat Miami and shut up all those Canes fans who assumed they would've won 2 years ago if they, and not FSU, was in the championship game.

i am not sure that OU makes it all the way.....lots of possible roadblocks along the way......that being said.....Stoops is just a flat out stud as a coach.......gonna take a very very poor game from Hybl for this team to lose.....

i am worried about CU next game out.....Buffs starting to roll......

I think Miami makes the game....they are a flat out good team.....this year is a year when there are clearly 2 premier teams in the country....OU and Miami.....just like the good ol days of Jimmy vs. Barry......Va Tech has bad QB and I don't like his chances of winning at Miami.......don't think Fat Phil will pull off upset either.....

I just hope Ohio State doesn't scum their way in......don't have to beat a premier team all year to make it......Georgia is other wildcard....will be interesting to see how their season plays out....they are a good football team.....much better than Ohio State and no reason Ohio State should be ranked ahead of them....SEC is no comparison to big 10 football.....Wisky is garbage and almost beat OSU without starting QB......Ohio State with near losses to Cincy and Wisky two toilet teams.....

Florida State almost beat them with a medicore QB and one good running back, VT will come with an okay QB and two good running backs , Miami can't stop the run where have you been? Wake up dude smell the coffee Miami is horrible against the run!

Robert-

Did you see the BC/VT game? VT managed to beat BC by a whole 5 pts after Boston College put together one of the biggest displays of football ignorance in one half I've seen this season. I believe they had 3 separate trips inside the red zone in the first half in which they came away with nothing. VT will run on Miami but Miami will pass on them. And for all their special teams hype, they gave up 2 huge returns to BC.

Mine would be OU vs Iowa

What a story line this would be....Booby Stoops, Mike Stoops,Chuck Long and Johnathon Hayes vs their Hawkeyes! Everyone in Iowa who wanted Stoops..WOW..this would be a great storyline! Hayden would be sitting up there in his thorn basking in all his glory!

GO HAWKS!

LOL

I would say he would almost have to root for his Hawkeyes, his famous words when he retired,

"I'll always be a Hawk"

GO HAWKS!
