Just locked in Miama - 1/2 in the first Quarter... Not really sure why this line is so low considering the Game line is still at -11
Anyone have any Clue?? I really like the Hurricanes to start off fast and it seems like a solid Bet... Would love to hear opinions or comments... GLTA AM2kidz

First quarter is all about getting a feel. . . especially in a National Championship game. Not really concerned about Miami crushing Ohio State early, but in the 2nd half. I don't expect either team to take any unneccesary chances especially in the 1st quarter.

But good luck if you decide to play it. . . that first quarter can run out pretty damn fast and its not like Miami is gonna kick that field goal with 20 seconds left unless they have a wind advantage that could change if they don't kick it right away.

Maybe they're figuring OSU's defense will give them an early unique look and it'll take Miami time to adjust... either way, if you're playing it, you've got a good chance IMO.

I had not seen that spread but I like it....

I think Miami gets out ahead early and kills the crowd noise. I am out here in the Phoenix valley and it is RED everywhere. These fans are nuts. I have the Miami game spread but may hop on that as well.

first quarter bets are pointless because bs plays can give you absolutely no chance to come back and cover. Return punts, return kickoffs, and pick 6s are the plays I'm talking about. Pretty tough bet to mess with. If you don't want to be the front line, just take miami -6 first half. That way, if there's some huge play, then miami will have at least have a little more time to make some plays.

Hey guys I really appreciate the insight... This is more of a gut feeling... I really feel like the Hurricanes are gonna start fast and try to make a statement early... The quarter does go pretty fast but I don't see Ohio State leading in this game at all... And for it to be 0-0 after the first quarter doesn't seem too likely...
If anyone else jumps on the first quarter line good luck to you as well... Seems like taking candy from a baby to me...
