I would say Miami -6 to -7, it is a key number and I can see two way action on this line, therefore, the books would be happy as long as there is even $ on each team. With that number I can see it happening

I suppose it may depend on how close miamis next 2 games are, if they win. If they blow cuse and tech out do you see it higher?

It is ridiculous to speculate on what the point spread will be. It will depend a great deal on what happens in Miami's next two games, injuries, etc. Who knows who might be in jail before game time, either. One thing is for sure, Miami will NOT be anywhere near a 13 point favorite versus OSU. Ohio State isn't a fancy team, but unless Clarett dies, they should certainly be able to move the ball on the ground. And unless Kosar comes back to replace Dorsey, Miami is not likely to go air happy versus Buckeyes. Personally, I don't like either team and doubt that they are the two best teams. But can't see the Canes being a double digit favorite here. Just for the sake of ridiculous speculation, if either Notre Dame or USC win convincingly next week, what sort of point spread would you expect on a neutral site for SC/ND winner versus Miami or OSU?

If it were 6.5, you would have your line move rather quickly to double-digits.

Well, unless Miami undergoes a major transformation in the next few weeks, I will become a big Ohio State fan for the Fiesta Bowl. Miami's offense doesn't have the strength to give double digits to a sound defensive team. No one respects their near impossible win streak more than I do, but at 10+ I can't wait to play OSU.
