tough one here, because i really dislike both teams.

ohio state (+9) 1 unit. don't get me wrong. the buckeyes are bad. the big 10 is really bad. and my first instinct when i saw the line was to play texas (always go with your first instinct, right?). but when i see 90% of the public on texas to win, i'm immediately reminded of texas tech and alabama. and we all know how both of those teams did in their bowl games this year. so i think texas is the much better team here, but somehow, some way, ohio state keeps this close. for starters, it would be great if terrelle pryor doesn't throw any big INT's. wow, is this guy awful. he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, even if the barn was single-covered. their only chance is for him to run the ball. a lot. like every time he thinks he's dropping back to pass, he tucks the ball and runs. that will give osu a chance. ok, i'm done bashing him. when the whole country sees how bad this guy sucks tonight, i will be cringing as i watch my money evaporate.

why do we gamble again? please, somebody remind me.

Smitty, great call on the Fiesta Bowl! Dead on with Pryor, he just did not ever get set when he threw the football, short too high ect... No Beanie second half cost the Buckeyes the outright win but they covered and made us some coin and thats all that matters. Looking ahead, Oklahoma is in big trouble with Florida if the Buckeyes could do that to Texas. Good Luck with Tulsa and hope you are on Florida.

yeah, he threw like shit. but no interceptions, ran 15 for 78. even caught a td pass. all by a freshman. I know, he sucks...

Not saying he won't be a good or even a great QB one day but last night he cost his team a win. He needed to complete more passes. Beanie seating the bench did not help!! Side note, I'm not a Buckeye fan, just an honest observation. As long as I hit my bets I don't care who wins!!

kazaam, i don't think he's ever going to be even a decent qb. his game is similar to mike vick's, except that he makes vick look like joe montana. last night was not a bad game for pryor - he really is that bad. right now, he's good enough for that team to win the big 10, but if they ever want to win a game outside the conference in the next 3 years, they will need another qb. i feel awful for boeckman... a senior captain qb who took his team to the national championship game last year... and he gets benched for a freshman who can't make an accurate throw. oh, and then in the fiesta bowl, he's asked to come into the game every obvious throwing down.

morris, no, i am not ready. definitely not looking forward to the commute tomorrow morning. i just hope it is snow, and not more freezing rain.

oh, and ripken... he tried to throw some picks. i remember at least one that was dropped. somewhat near the goalline, as i recall.
