hey guys, I'd like to thank all the ppl that make the effort to post their picks, using whatever system or ouija board or coin they toss to come up with their plays... :toast:
I think I've only posted 2 plays the last few wks, went 1-1...
if Arizona just wins the damn gm against Xavier I hit an 8 tm par.. and if Wisc beats Fla, I'd be golden lol.. and if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle lol
Today's games:
S. Carolina +6.5 vs Gonzaga... total 137.5
I didn't get to see any of the games last Sunday due to fantasy baseball draft... so just have to go from my foggy memory of what I've seen among the dozens of games the last few wks
S. Carolina has had some surprising offensive ability and energetic defense and rebounding, and tenaciousness... they have played with a lot of heart to get this far.
I like them to keep it close and cover, but I think Gonzaga will win.. their big man has some very solid post moves, and needs to stay out of foul trouble ~ is crucial for them.
pick: S. Caro +7 (buy half).... lean over the total (I think there will be plenty of fouling late)
Oregon +4.5 vs N. Caro... total up to 153
I love N. Carolina's pace of the game... get the ball out and go!
Oregon also loves this style of play (normally), and hoping they will continue to attempt that style today!
NC has more quality rebound/post up/follow shot big men than Oregon does, and I think this is where they will wear down the Ducks, Bell and Dorsey in particular have been amazing.
In the half-court gm, both teams can and will shoot the 3's, but NCar will also throw into the post a lot more and draw fouls (I believe)., trouble for Ducks.
The Ducks have also played with a lot of heart, but I think it ends today.
How can this game stay under the total? I don't think it can... think NC gets 85+, Oregon 77+
