So much info on this game..forget what happened the 1st time these guys played each other...Nova beat Kansas not with their 3 that they couldn't hit but with defense and scoring inside....OU just destroyed Oregon....Buddy is the best player out there tonite..Cousins,Woodward,Spang,etc....Nova is loaded with no superstars but Arch,Hart,Jenkins and Ocfu inside...OU is the better shooting team...Nova the better defensive team...but Nova is a good shooting team and OU can play defense..not sure how much playing at NRG a football stadium will effect each team...depth perception is effected...esp. the 3 pt shot... I like OU to win this by a few in a close game...with 2 minutes to go and if I have Buddy on my side I feel pretty good...Wright should box and one him, triangle-2 him and Woodward..let Spang,Cousins and the rest beat you..easier said then done...think OU will be playing Monday nite..
Cuse +9.5 over NC **
NC has so much more talented players then the Cuse. Johnson inside the paint on offense and defense could dominate.. Page,Berry,etc are tough...but these guys are not a good "jump shooting" team...Boes 2-3 is amazing...we all know how they run it...but they have length and quickness on defense. Boe should pack that zone in and see if the Heels can hit from the outside....Cuses offense is just avg...but there two 5 yr senior gds Gbinije and Cooney are solid...Richardson and the others are playing great...Love the big kid Lydon who can go out outside and hit a 3...think the Cuse can keep this close...think Cooney needs to have a big game...he was on the front cover of about 2 or 3 basketball preseason publications this fall...Sportings News,Athlon...there are about 10 other players that should of made the eastern publications front cover...so prove to us tonight you belonged...playing at NRG, Cuse does have a little advantage since they do play in a dome already...think NC wins but the Orange cover...
