Ohio State vs Georgetown.......
#1 Big Ten vs. #1 Big East; with Oden vs. Hibbert
Florida vs. UCLA
#1 SEC vs #1 Pac Ten; and Last years Winner vs. LY?s Runner Up
:00hour
My take is this;
Ohio State has finally come into form, after a couple of lackluster game?s, they got their shit together and put a beat-down on Memphis. Georgetown 'seems' to have hit their stride in overtime, but free throw trouble and silly fouls will bring them down. I also think Coach Matta has more tricks in his bag than Thompson, at least from what I have seen. Was surprised by the line movement in this game, but it shouldn?t matter. All of Georgetown?s high screens will not work against the Buckeyes lightning quick guards. If Ohio St gets lazy, some back door stuff can open up against them, but Matta will sit those players if it happens, and he has enough of them waiting to play. If Oden gets in foul trouble, then Ohio St will play an up tempo sort of game, that wears down teams, a game that Conley J.R. (think Kobe one on one) excels at. Seems like most are on Georgetown, and I?m Ok with that. Should be a good game, but I see the Buckeyes pulling away down the stretch by 4-6 points. Say????78-73!

As much as I have liked Ohio State this weekend, my preference for UCLA has grown even more that I have looked into this game. Lee Humphrey is a great shooter, but he is a horrible defender, and with Collison running the point now for UCLA, he will be able to blow past Humphrey and open things up for the Bruins. I want to know who Donovan will make Humphrey guard? I believe now that Afflalo has found his touch, this one-two punch is the mismatch that Ben Howland will exploit. Howland just seems to have a knack for making the adjustments that Donovan does not. I was not big on UCLA throughout the season, but they made me a believer shortly before the tourney. Mbah a Moute and Aboya are not your typical freshman anymore, and seem to have gelled nicely down low. If they neutralize the paint vs. Florida?s tag team, then Affalo can go out a get at Humphrey. Shipp is the Ace in the hole if you will, and I find it interesting that nobody seems to talk about him(maybe I missed it?). The Gators were behind both Purdue and Butler deep into their games before coming back to win. I just don?t see the same hunger as last year from them? I do see another good game, close, with many lead changes in this one, but show UCLA advancing. Taking this one on the money line and with the points, lets do a 65-62, Bruins on top?..
But what the hell do I know? :shrug:
All responses and banter welcome, LOL???.:bigun:
