Win or lose, it was a .500 season for me, down a bit on posted picks cause of juice.

Overall my bets all season long, I'm down about $25, or about 1 unit. Thanks to Nolan, in particular, for many plays I piggybacked when just looking for action.

Thanks to Gibber, Senor for picks and analysis every week. Thanks to all who commented in my threads, argued over lines and techniques, particularly weasel.

I'm gone for a while, so you won't see any updates after this weekend.

Currently 48-50-1. A quick check of the records shows I'm well over .500 SU on ML dogs, and so I'm also up a bit on them. Down on totals, up on faves, down on dogs ATS.

Here's some for this week.
JAX +3
CLE +2.5
MINN +3.5

All good ML bets, too. Kind of Like PITT +4. That's more of an anti-public thing, though.

Next week, I think you'll see MIA @ NE pretty close to Pick 'Em. Go with the Pats. ;)

Thanks for reading. I'll be back at playoff time.

Good strong finish with these guys.

Week 16:
JAX (L)
MINN (W and ML)
CLE (W and ML -- that was a lucky one)
PITT (W)

Week 17:
PATS (close to pick in last week was a W and ML).

That would have put me at 52-51-1 for the year (not counting MLs twice, which I usually do), but like I said, it was basically a .500 season no matter how you look at it.

Got a bit lucky with the Browns in week 16 and the Pats in week 17. At least I loved seeing the pats knock out the fins. Fins were some people's superbowl pick when they beat the raiders.

Here's an unfortunate tale. SIA mistakenly listed TB +4 (this was against the Steelers, remember) for a few minutes one morning. I hit it hard and then notified them. They let me keep the bet. Well, I got nailed on it. Just goes to show ya....

I did get a bunch of it back, going for the 8 point middle, but not all of it.

Still, a good strong finish. Hopefully something jumps out at me in week 1 here.

Giants are only +135 on the ML. If that hits 150, I'm probably there. I do like how they're playing, though, and if you've been reading my stuff, I've been a big SF fader all season. Don't want to be a bandwagon jumper either.

My initial instincts were all 4 dogs. Don't want to step into any traps though. ATL/GB over looks delicious right now but me and totals

I like IOWA SU tonight and OSU SU and with the 3 tommorrow. The last two days have been absolutely HORRENDOUS for me. I think I'm like 1-7 on totals and 3-6 on sides. BAH.

:( I've had the same thing happen myself. Funny how these things turn out. But what really caught my eye was you emailing SIA. Did they actually reply to you? I would set the No at -1000 or so. If they DID reply then you are one of the only people I know who could pull off that feat! :D

Yes they replied. I think they have in the past, too.

I made the bet and emailed them, "I think your line is wrong. "

They emailed me back quickly and said, "Thank you for pointing that out. We will let the bet stand in good faith."

I wish they would have retracted it in better faith after it lost.
