Final proof Germans are idiots

I spent three months in their lovely country enjoying their culture and beer back in 91, but this takes the cake - though it certainly is not stastically significant from a polling standpoint.

BERLIN, Germany (Reuters) -- One-third of Germans under age 30 believe the U.S. government may have sponsored the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington, according to a poll.

And about 20 percent of Germans in all age groups hold this view, according to a survey of 1,000 people conducted for the weekly Die Zeit.

i saw that article also & am somewhat disappointed, but not surprised, about their attitude towards america. they could talk like that because they are'nt in harms way from attacks from other countries. wonder if they thought this way when the wall was up & was afraid of russia invading them.
