First of all I have no money on this game, but I find it really hard to watch soccer with all these fouls in the box being called that will probably decide the game...1 goal in soccer probably has more impact on the game than in any other sport...
question, how come they don't have more officials for one game? I would think they can work with 3 or at least 2, like the nba, nfl....what do you guys think? would more than one ref work?

I agree Bassmaster, the Italians were starting to scare me when they slowed it down completley and seemed to almost revive their front line and rest their hopes on the shoulders of their stellar defense...they knew they didnt have the gas to beat the French defense, and I think it was a planned startegy to save their resources for a 1 on 1 clash with France's weakest link, Barthez..the guy sucks, did not make one stop, and the fact that Buffon did not allow one goal against this explosive French attack except for a typical World Cup 06 BULLSHIT PENALTY that should not even have been called, it shows the true taent of a team who was ravished by game fixing scandals and bad calls all tourney...in the end, the best team won...France was overachieving, and I beleive the only reason they got this far was because of Zidanes suspension...it refueled his idesire to win, and allowed him fresh legs against a Brazil team taht was letting its players play far to deep into games that they already had in the bag....Bravo Italia, BRAVO
