4...

Preds +130
Sabes in reg +140
TBL in reg +100
Wild in reg -120
Just wondering how that regulation works (I'm assuming before any OT of course). And if you take a team, is the 'default' in regulation. Excuse my ignorance, I might have watched 5 minutes of a hockey game before. And just starting to bet hockey, and that could be short lived :)

If you bet the team to win in regulation you have better odds but they have to win before it gets to OT.. if that team you bet in regulation still wins in OT you lose the bet

Okay but I didn't see any option on betting a team to win in regulation (on my ticket). I just thought it was kind of like football or basketball; if it goes to overtime, then whoever wins after overtime cashes? I'm probably still confused. And I didn't see anything about better odds. In other words overtime is just an extension of the game? right?

If a team is say +100 odds on the **MoneyLine, they will be around +155 on the "**regulation time/minus half goal/60 minutes" betting line, hence the better odds.

**MoneyLine = win the game in regulation time, or overtime, or shootout

**Regulation time/minus half goal/60 minutes line = team must win the game in regulation time (60 minutes)

Note: One can also bet on a team at plus half a goal on the regulation time/60 minutes betting line. Which means if your team wins the game in 60 minutes, OR the game is tied going into overtime you win your wager.

Thanks Kick, that really helps. I had gone back and looked at the lines and saw something about a Puck line, and maybe some other stuff. I'm just sticking with the money line to keep it simple.

It will say 3 way moneyline and you can pick either team or a tie for those options
