Race 5 had a 25-1 shot win with a 6-1 for second. It was a 7 horse field. The $2 exacta paid $90. :scared

There was only $35K bet in the entire exacta pool in all combos. When you have that little in a pool plus a lady rider placing the race, it happens. Had more been wagered and a larger field than 8 entries, that combo would not have gotten as much action unless there was a track tip.
Also, in the 6th a 15/1 to the favorite paid $78 w/a $29K pool. So it's pool divided by wagers minus track juice = payout. I'da been bummed too.

I know the FL doesn't have a large handle, but c'mon. :mj07: Hey it happens, but it hurts more when you have it. For the $2 I spent on the $1 exacta key I would have got back more if I bet the $2 on the horse to win. Go figure.
