Start your computer in safe mode, then delete your temp internet files. Then run your adware and virus protector. Sometimes you pick up more virus and adware in the safe mode.

I run premium AVG and also run Spybot

for Windows

Left click ....START
Left click ....Control Panel
Left Click ....Security Center
Left Click ....Internet Options
Left Click ....General Tab

go to Temp Internet Files....
Left Click ..........Delete Cookies
I also left click ...Delete Files
I also left click ...Clear History

click OK

I do this every few days or so

Say once: Tools - advanced-scroll down to security-check empty temp - int - files when browser closed(they delete when you shutdown at night) Be sure you shut down when not in use
Next: Open control panel-open change/remove. Top right, Sort by: Size Leave the frequentlys alone. Take out the ones you lose rarely or less.
Make sure your network is not being over used.
Reboot

do a search for "cleanup" Its a free software progroam that goes through and delete's all unnecessary files on your pc. I have had it for months and run it every week. CleanUp! is a powerful and easy-to-use application that removes temporary files created while surfing the web, empties the Recycle Bin, deletes files from your temporary folders and more.

You have all you need. When you shut down, your temps will be deleted. If you're on alot, you can clear your history and cookies every few days and your system tools weekly. Don't remove anything you use "frequently or is necesary"
Sometimes they are just slow.(traffic-phishers, etc)
