I can not help you o Florida man. I do know what we had much fun with years ago. Put a cherry bomb or M-80 in a 5 or 8 gallon garbage can. See how far that top would go.

I like multi shot roman candles for roman candle fights. Good to shoot your friends with and have roman candle wars when you get chit-faced

if you are looking for something REALLY fun and exciting...
try something that myself and my brother did when we were younger little tykes on a 4th of july.
Go get yourself a 100 ft string of "cannonades" these are the things you see at city festivals and big public shows that are nothing but super loud flashbangs on a string and they run it up and down the field and they go off sequencially.... you get the picture... you can order them thru any of the black market magazines or find them at the semi trailer firework shops along interstates. anyway...we had a 100 foot string of these bad boys. we had saved all summer for this big ticket item. raking leaves, cleaning rain gutters, cutting grass... we were stoked. we strung that puppy out along the backyard and after daring each other to light it... well... lets just say it "spontaneously combusted" and it began. WHOOM WHOOM WHOOM WHOOM... right on down the line. quite a sight to behold.
one small problem tho.
the city cops arrived at the door well before the 100 foot string had come to an end.
