NCAA YTD: 4-3 (+0.70*)


- - I am never trigger shy to start the NFL season, as I always have been tracking for weeks and/or months plenty of INFORMATION and ANGLES on many of the 32 NFL teams; that's almost never the case with the 100+ NCAA teams, which usually don't exist on my radar from January to August . . . Even so, I suspect I'm going to end up with a couple more NFL plays on today's card than I should if I was striving for discipline over MONEY MANAGEMENT; but money management is my greatest strength in football and golf wagering for 30 years, so this card is whatever it is.


Houston(-3)(-118) over Washington (1*)
- - I see Houston having some good answers out of the gate to last year's variance, while I see Washington having lots of questions and a couple answers I don't like to last year's direction or variance.

Pittsburgh(-6) over Cleveland (1*)
- - This game has been penciled on my card for at least two weeks, and nothing I've seen or heard since has diminished it.

Baltimore(Pk) over Cincinnati (1*)
- - I think only Green Bay and Indianapolis were given tougher assignments for the opening week, and I will be letting Harbaugh's Ravens carry my cash in this important home opener.

Now the maybe a few too many . . .

Chicago(-6) over Buffalo(1*)
- - I expect a good game plan and good adjustments, we'll see about good execution and good talent.

Tampa Bay(-4) over Carolina (1*)
- - I was a big advocate of what HC Rivera was doing and seeming to get done the last two years, but this year I see regression.

San Francisco/Dallas(Un51) (1*)
- - We'll see how this goes, but my ANGLES say this is not filled with easy chunk plays, and red zone efficiencies.

New England(-3)(-113) over Miami (1*)
- - In another iffy move on my part, going with this one in lieu of New Orleans over Atlanta.
