Isn't there a trend that ddubs, horns and some of the others used to use related to betting on a team in the first game after they fire their coach? Seems to me it had a really high winning % and I know it was correct a couple of weeks ago in Washington's first game with their new coach.

Wouldn't that come into play with Carolina tonight?

GL to all:)

I searched but couldn't find the post. I think the angle has done well this season. I was going to play this when I heard Laviolette was hired, but it took away the appeal once I saw it was the Penguins. Carolina -256:eek: Too pricey for me, and I would hesitate on the PL because the Canes tie so much.

I was looking at the Over because Laviolette likes to play wide open attacking hockey. But can his style be reflected in his 1st game behind the bench is the question.

Any other opinions?

I'm on the Penguins for no other reason than the value and the high potential for a tie or a straight up win by the Penguins. These two play each other tough. Yes, there is the new coach angle, but no way am I laying 200+ on Carolina.:nono:

It was either a pass-o-rama or take a shot with the Penguins.

I won with the Penguins when they were +1.5 against Ottawa, so worst I can do is give that win back:shrug:

Good Luck on whatever you play,

That trend was around 7-1 or better last year.
2-0 this year so far.
Would definitly be a play if not for the juice.
Wouldn't put anything on Pens.
