First play for 2008 - Pittsburgh Steelers!

I hope everyone is well - I haven't posted in nearly a month as i decided to take a well deserved break from betting on sports - had another winning year in 2007 - my big hit on the Pitt Panthers in CFB ML was a nice way to end the season strong....

I'm ready to get back into the action for NFL playoffs something I usually do very well in the playoffs...

I put in a very strong play on the Pittsburgh Steelers for today...to summarize the wrong team is favored in this one...local is getting hammered on Jacksonville as they seem to be the trendy pick and the media would have you believe they already won this game...throw out the regular season game - this is even more incentive for Pitt to come through with the "W" today...Pitt is a very strong home team, and everything catches up to Jax here today...

Let's keep in mind the 2 toughest tests for Jax this year were both vs. Indy - Jax lost both...Jax still not ready to go to the next level...

Look for Pitt to win this game outright...shop the line on this one i have an out that has a +3 on this one - lots of 2.5's out there juiced up as well - moneyline definitely worth a look, but i'll take a 3 point home dog w/ Pitt in the playoffs all day long...in this one i feel it's better to take the 3 than to go moneyline on this one - in case of a 1 or 2 point jax win this still covers...

anyways this is my first play for 2008 and looking to carry the momentum of a VERY VERY profitable 2007 and looking to have another winning year...going to start tracking the record of all posted plays - wish everyone would do this - would help us all out -however it's never the "true picture" as i can't post every play i make...just don't have the time for the most part...

Wow - what a game! Steelers +3 comes in! 1-0 +$5,000 - can't think of a better way to start the year! Was a close one as only covered by 1 point but that's why I said to take the points...really thought Pitt would win outright, but have to hand it to Jax - going into Heinz field twice in one season and winning outright is quite a feat! I'm really hoping to see New England vs. Jacksonville - think that would be a great matchup - but i guess worst case we see Indy vs. Jax Round 3 for this year - as i said earlier they haven't been able to beat Indy - i still don't really think they can - but hey it's tough to lose to a team 3 times in the same season...the definitely showed me something in this game tonight...

I'll post as much as i can in this coming year - no plays for tomorrow - don't like either game - that TB/Giants game in my opinion is anyone's guess...San Diego also who knows could be a blowout, or could come down to a field goal...either way i'm passing - i'm cool w/ a +$5,000 week...

One thing i really did well last year was cut down on number of plays - i cut down on the "action" plays - I think it also helps to manage the overall bankroll - personally there is nothing i hate more than making 5, 6, or 7 plays at say noon and getting beat up by going 1-6 or something - i find that by taking it one game at a time it's easier to manage everything...
