Haven't posted any of my plays yet this year, but I always read and appreciate the insight found on this place.
That said, I do have a play for tonight.
Record:0-0(+O)
Central Florida +135 - $500
Here's why. This is a game I probably would overlook on a Saturday, but since it's a Thursday, I'll give it a roll. Both teams are bad, but Marshall is especially bad ATS in the last two years (4-9). They have yet to cover a spread this year. Sure, this could be a "get right" game for them, but I see UCF as the better football team.
Their running back Smith came off of suspension last week to rush for over 100 yards. He was a 1200 yard rusher as a freshman. The kid is very capable, even though his offensive line has holes. Moffett has looked shaky at the start of the year, but does have the talent to be an effective quarterback. He should improve as his running game becomes more productive.
Last year, UCF won by 10 in Orlando. It might be closer than that this time around, but I think the running game and play of Moffett comes through for a conference victory.
