Lubick's Rams are usually underrated and I feel that is the situation here again to start this season. Sonny is an impressive 58-41 ATS at Colorado State, 8-1-1 ATS as a road underdog of less than a touchdown, and 14-6 overall as a road dog. History tells me he will have his squad ready to go as the Rams are 5-0 ATS in season openers on the road, including a "pre-season" SU win at Michigan State as a 6-point dog to kick off the 1998 campaign.

I look at these pictures in awe!!!

The 2 largest universities in Canada are located right here in Toronto, being Univ of Toronto and York University(my school). About 30,000-40,000 students per school and they are about a 20 minute from one another. Yet, on a GOOD day, maybe 1,000-2,000 people show up. What a joke, not to mention as well that the field looks like a high school park.

In regards to the game....

Look for Virginia to be forced into throwing the ball downfield themselves as the Rams defensive front 7 stifles the Cavaliers rushing game. That will put the game on the shoulders of Virginia QB Matt Shaub. He's a decent signal caller but not the man who can win the game on the strength of his arm. Their best match up is WR Billy McMullen against a young Rams secondary, as McMullen is one of the ten best receivers in college ball this year. He could give Colorado State fits but I have a great deal of respect for Head Ram Sonny Lubick. He knows as well as anyone who he'll be facing Thursday and I expect he has prepared accordingly. If Virginia tries to go to the McMullen well too often, they will get burnt.

Ahhh but my Canadian friend...Thats UVA's gameplan. Everybody in Charlottesville, VA knows they are gonna pass the ball. Its like Marshall....everybody in the world knew they were gonna throw the ball.

Listen...as a friend...Me and 3 other guys went to Clemson last year and watched the Virginia - Clemson...little did I know I was gonna see some unreal talent. Little did I know they would beat Clemson too anyways...these WRs are sooo fawking fast...and the vertical jumps are unreal! Now I watched Randy Moss 5 times when he played for Marshall....and Iam not saying they got Moss talent...but damn dude...its pretty fawking close. So of course they are gonna air the ball....hell UVA is probably hoping CSU sends 7 defenders to the QB...that will leave either the flat - the middle - or something deep wide open. When you play 4 wideouts...you have to adjust your defense....you will probably see dime package a few times a game...other then that they will stick with the nickle package. Now think this over...you can do all sorts of shit with 4 WRs...we all know that. And Iam assuming CSU goes Cover 2 ok lets say that...you got a safety(deepest of the deepest)...2 corners...now you got to shift your strong safety and your will linebacker to cover the flat....please dont tell me you think CSU is gonna go man-to-man...if thats the case...ohhh shit...UVA in a blowout then. CSU will more then likely go zone. that means...the SS and will LB have to cover the flat! which leaves the middle linebacker to cover the middle. Hell they could use there TE for all we know. And sure UVA might not have a good running game...but people are judinging tat based on a young OL...CSU has a young DL, people are talking up CSUs D likes its Florida St's.

Of course I could be wrong...but hey thats why they play the game
