Very simple. . . Iowa WILL get the ball first. . . If Iowa wins the coin toss, they will take the ball first, if USC wins the coin toss, they will likely elect to defer as most teams do and Iowa will get the ball first.
Already posted this info in another thread, but wanted to share it again. Therefore, Iowa to score first at +110 has value IMO and Iowa first quarter line at +.5 also has value but gotta lay the juice at Carib which is 135 right now.
May take the USC team a little while to get their passing attack going in such a big game but expect Iowa to be able to run the ball from the start with such a talented back and solid offensive line. Should eat up the clock. . . I predict Iowa will get 2 possessions in the first quarter and USC only 1 full possession and maybe half of another before going into the 2nd quarter.
Decided to lay off the 1st half line even though +3.5 looks good. . . also have decided to lay off the Iowa ML as I want to see how they look in the first half, then determine what the play is for the 2nd half/rest of the game.
