You are in for a treat.

Everybody always remembers their 1st time to Vegas:00hour

I know this is not what you are looking for but I'll say it anyway. Many times when I have been at the Sportsbook I have eaten at Subway. There is a Subway about a half mile from the hotel (actually 2 within half mile). Yes I know that was not what you were looking for. But hey, it ain't expensive, so ya can't beat that:shrug:

Oh and for the record the hotel is now called........

LVH ? Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

I am sure others will answer your question.

Have fun:00hour

splurge at least once..........

splurge at least once..........

Vegas Buffets are probably the best in the world..if u can afford 1 or 2 visits def do so.
Wicked Spoon believe it was Cosmo is an unmatched experience haven't been there now 2 years but was there every year for at least 3 months for the last 30. The locals casinos are the cheapest..Station Casinos are cheap basic Buffet chow. Gold Coast may be the cheapest Palace Station used to be very good but has gone down to very basic. Also Metro Pizza is the only Pizza i will eat in LV. Ellis Island from what i hear down the street from u is still a last cheap eats place.

hammer1 is 100 percent correct. You can't go to Vegas for your 1st time and not go to a Buffet. There are tons to choose from. I myself love the Breakfast Buffets, but any Buffet will do just fine.

Note: "Old Vegas" has lots of cheap Buffets.

For the buffet. Do the 24 hour buffet of buffet's offered for around $45. You can buy it at Rio, Caesar or Paris. It includes 7 casino buffets. The Rio, Caesar and Paris are part of that deal. The Paris buffet is by far one of the best. Shrimp, crab legs, fresh made crapes. It's awesome. Start your 24 hour buffet at dinner and then end with dinner. You can go as many times as you like in a 24 hour period. 2 dinners and a great breakfast and lunch make this a great deal for $45.

Also worth trying is the steak special at Ellis Island. It's a little hole in the wall casino behind Ballys. For $6.99 you get salad, a fillet steak, bake potato, veggie and a tall beer. You have to ask for the steak special as it's not on the menu. In that same casino is an awesome BBQ. For around $10, you get a half slab of ribs, half chicken, cole slaw, corn and baked beans. It's a trough of food. Be prepared to put on a feedbag.

Have fun....Enjoy!

Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
Actually

Actually

the LVH lunch buffet was pretty good compared to the local swill 9.99 buffets.

Believe it was 17.95..great ribs, limited choices, but fish, beef, pizza, salads, desserts, etc were much better prepared than many.

And it is right next to sportsbook...

If you are staying there, maybe they throw you a free buffet?

Billy, I don't know much about the Strip eats but I have lived here now for about 7 weeks and the food is incredible. You can find whatever you want form cheap to the most expensive French Restaurants.

I like Rubio's and Baja Fresh for fast food Mexican and any Lindo Michocan restaurants are incredible (there are like 6 around town).

I'm not a buffet person but there are so many of them you just have to research a few.

I heard Ellis Island is an incredible value for 7.99.

Look for Happy Hour menus mid afternoon. There are some great deals to be found at that time as well.

Good Luck and enjoy!! I remember my first time in 1997 and NOW I LIVE HERE!!!:00hour
