Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. Injured centre to return as Sens face Capitals
The Senators are going to get a boost tonight -- and a different look in net.
Centre Mike Fisher is coming back from a knee jury and Martin Gerber is going back into the Ottawa net.
Senators coach Bryan Murray announced this morning Gerber will make the start tonight against the Washington Capitals at Scotiabank Place and that Fisher is ready for a return after more than a month on the shelf. Game time tonight is 7:30 p.m. (Sportsnet, RDS).
That means winger Brian McGrattan will be a healthy scratch against the Caps. Fisher will play on the wing with Jason Spezza and Antoine Vermette.
"I got assurance this morning that Fisher is ready to play. I'm just going to throw him on the wing for now and let him earn the ice time," said coach Bryan Murray.
