Not even sure if you remember this, but a while back you mentioned Kennedy landing closed with the lead foot and I said it's not always a bad thing.... anyway, I was just watching him on TV against the A's today and I wanted to clarify my opinion so you wouldn't think I'm a ****ing idiot.

I didn't realize how Kennedy pitches. His mechanics are brutal. My point before (without knowing how he pitches) was that I like guys that are power pitchers to land with their stride foot closed off (somewhat, roughly 30 or 45 degrees) because without being a physicist, it seems like those guys get more 'torque' or whatever the proper term would be from their hips as they stay back with their weight over the rubber and then explode open as their arm comes through. But they need to do that, in my opinion, without stepping across their body, which is the key.

Anyway, I agree with your previous statement about Kennedy and don't see him staying as a healthy starter for much longer in his career. He's bound one day to just get hurt or lose command
