Florida forward Dorian Finney-Smith has been cleared to play tonight against Miami despite hairline fractures in two fingers on his non-shooting hand.
Coach Billy Donovan said he is "going into the game not expecting to get very much from him."
Finney-Smith, the SEC's sixth man of the year last season, missed practice Saturday and Sunday with his left hand in a cast. He will wear a brace when the seventh-ranked Gators (1-0) host the Hurricanes . Donovan said "it's probably going to be a month before he starts to feel a lot better."
Finney-Smith led UF with 15 points in the opener. He injured his hand in the first half, got it wrapped and finished the game.
