Hou @ WASH : looked at this match- up and think the line is way to high.I would think wash -6 to -7 would be on the money. Wash is a good team off to a nice start but they are not the type of team that will come out and dominate you physically.Hou has the size and the athletic type players to stay with this team. Tom Penders is not doing this with smoke and mirrors.Last year Owens & Smith beat Wash 79 -67 @ home & you can throw last year out.This is a new and different team with a very good coach with help from JC'S.I may be wrong but Hou has a chance to win and should cover easy.NOTE: Darrius Brannon has played the last 2 games, a JC kid that will make a difference for hou this year.Should start to show up in the box scores,just a bonus for this team on the way up. The line has gone from 15 to 16.5,dont need any more.HOUSTON + 16.5.....

I think the line is too high by about 5 or 6 points only.
I live in Houston and can tell you plenty about the Coogs.
Start 3 guards(Owens,Latham,and Smith).
They have no size down low at all.Dyer is small for a PF and Cherrington stinks.Francis is decent.
Lawson is a turnover machine.I guarantee at least 1 travel out of him today.
Don't expect to see Brannon much if at all today.
He is way out of shape.He has not practiced in 2 months because he was hitting the books to become eligible.He just started practicing 10 days ago and still feels he is not in good shape.He played in the last 2 games because they were blowouts and Penders wanted to see what he has in him.
I like Houston here,but they could easily lose by 20 because the Penders pressure defense will not have any effect on WU.
U of H loves to take quick shots.I kinda like the high over 168.
