England, u.k.
With the action this weekend taken up by the divisional playoffs and the premiership on Sunday, it has come about that the bookmakers have once again tried in their attempt to offer such ridiculous prices on two matches from the Premiership.

People must be insane to back either Bolton or WestHam to win at their respective prices. Now I know the bookies were bound to build incentive into their prices but surely they have gone over the top by making West Ham odds-on!

Yes, the Hammers are fighting for their lives and Birmingham having nothing to play for, but that doesn't mean Trevor Brooking's side become odds-on shots (4/6) to win away from home. That price is baffling for a number of reasons. For starters, Birmingham have already beaten West Ham this season. Secondly, they've won their last five home games at St Andrews. And finally, what if West Ham's relegation rivals Bolton go 3-0 up against Middlesbrough? What incentive then is there for West Ham to keep fighting to the end?

If this game was two weeks ago Birmingham would have been no bigger than 6/4, yet PremierBet are the generous bookies offering 11/4, thats one and a quarter points over value and that has to be snapped up.

Bolton are a ridiculous price of 8/13 when two weeks ago they would have been 10/11. Middlesboro form is poor away from the Riverside, but Bolton's home forms not much better as they have drawn eight times and this will be number nine.

2 points BIRMINGHAM @ 11/4
