Les is a douche. Despite his 22-4 record and a pair of top 3 finishes, Les has few fans in these parts. That has to tell you something. As an alumnus and season-ticket holder, I am pleased w/ the past 2 seasons, but have never liked Les and am disgusted to read of him spouting off like a jacka$$.
As for LSU Nat'l title talk, I feel it is unwarranted, especially by a HC. It is certain that speed and athleticism top to bottom is sick, the DL is an absolute murderer's row, and the LBs are as good as it gets in the SEC. The conference schedule sets up properly, but I don't see a tiltle run this season. Last year, the offense took a while to gel. This year, with a new OC, it should be harder to come together. Losing Russel (25-4 career as a starter) and a pair of WRs to the first round of the draft can't help.
