Judge, thanks, but i think you've only included the part with the house on it....i know the lot is way bigger than that figure...

did you use the part to the far right hand side of the image in your figure? (it is a weird type T shaped lot)

If yah know the shape and dimensions and angles, you can break it down into squares/rectangles and triangles. Figure the size of each and add them together. One acre is 43,560 square feet.

Sorry BahamaMama. You are right, I only calculated the small semi-rectangular portion of the property. The total square footage of the ?T? shaped lot is approximately 34,571.23 square feet which is approximately 7.14 acres. The existing building is approximately 1,169.56 square feet.

thanks again judge... i wasn't sure how to manage all the calculations, but when i move over the decimal point in your calculation of the big area and add things together, it comes up very close to what my memory was to the actual acerage of the property (somewhere between 3/4 and 1 )

wish me luck you guys, have one of the salvage bidders coming tomorrow, and he sounds VERY interested. oh, to get what i'm asking as is on day 2 would be perfect!!!!
