My fault, I went back and looked at all of the previous votes and sorry to say but howley has almost 0% of getting into the hall. He has never even made it to the final round of finalist to be considered thus he has no shot! Carl Eller for example had to wait nineteen years before he go elected and was a finalist for thirteen years before getting over the hump! Harry Carson, Lester Hayes and Art Monk have the longest current streaks of making it to the finals but not getting enough votes to get into the hall of fame! In the next two years it's going to be very tough for anyone to get into the hall because in 2005 Marino, Steve Young and Michael Irvin are all eligible and should all get in on the first try. In 2006, there will be quite a logjam as Troy Aikman, Warren Moon, Andre Reed, Deion Sanders, Reggie White and Thurman Thomas are all eligible! Howley is not the only player that has been slighted and deserves to be in the HOF others such as, Bob Kuechenberg, Cliff Harris, Rayfield Wright, Bullet Bob Hayes, Joe Klecko, Ken Stabler, LC Greenwood, Phil Simms and Ken Anderson to just name a few have still not received the necessary support!
