For those of you that live or travel to LA

I will be out in Los Angeles for a few days with some friends before going to Vegas in a few weeks and I need a good place to stay, priorities being:

1. Price
2. Location (near beach??)

I would like to make this part cheap so I have more to spend in Vegas...Anyone have any good suggestions, any places where we can crash and somebody won't steal our car or kill someone in the parking lot??? I have read to many guest reviews with crazy shite going on...

Please help...

there is nice scenery in hermosa or manhattan beach. about 10 min south of lax. small coastal towns.

a little further south try Kings Harbour at Redondo Beach

a little bit north try Venice Beach.

most hotel rooms right on or near the beach will cost $85. and up a night on weekdays and more on weekends..

I live in Manhattan Beach. Some very nice bars here. Go next door to Hermosa Beach on the weekend and visit the pier area. There are a lot of bars there where you can't go wrong.

KING BLVD AND CRENSHAW has a nice snooty fox motel where u could chill , i'm sure it's cheap as hell :thumb:

Redondo Beach is right next door to Hermosa Beach and next to Manhattan Beach as well. I would pass on any clubs in Redondo and head right for Hermosa and/of Manhattan.

Visit the bars at the Hermosa Beach Pier and bars on Manhattan Beach Blvd (downtown Manhattan Beach). On Manhattan Beach Blvd. try a small sports bar called Sharks Cove.
