Good article Spock, buy the Saturday globe so just had to find the paper.

actually I was short 360 when it broke below $10, just a company with to much debt.

the idea about putting $250 every month in cash is a good idea, ING offered $25 if you just opened an account, now believe they offer $13. good bank for savings account and mortgages, and when I want a withdrawal is in my chequing account the next day.

best part of the article was the advice.

"You'll make some mistakes and lose some money when you start investing, but thats okay. Its just like paying tuition for school."

glad u had the saturday globe and mail. the reporter did not even send me a mail after I had asked him to inform me when the article would be printed by email since I was out of the country.

Was lucky a colleague mailed me on sunday and said she had seen the article on saturday. I was able to get hold of a couple of copies to send to my family.

Glad u liked the article. hee hee .. the guy asked me to give people advice .. what could I say .. hmm .. so I said what came to me .. :D

Happy that I am done with student loans ... regarding ING yup .. had opened an account with them when they started in Canada .. and they were offering free cash .. even now in the financial forum they offer free cash in account .. $13 as u said .
