FOX kills shows again!

The execs at networks love to whack shows to make room for SILLY but CHEAP reality shows.

FOX has axed the following shows:
LIE TO ME
HUMAN TARGET
BREAKING IN
CHICAGO CODE
TRAFFIC LIGHT

I loved 'Lie to Me' and hope it gets picked up by TNT or someone as there are signs of that happening. It still had 6M viewers despite FOX showing it one week then not showing another and movie from different time of seasons all the time. I never knew when it was gonna be a new episode.

Human Target had a nice following as well and FOX is taking some heat for killing this show.

Breaking In with Christan Slater was never given much of a chance airing just 6 episodes and having solid numbers. FOX says it was because it followed Idol. Slater needs to give up tv. 3 shows that never made it past one season. FYI:I liked all 3 even if Kickserv says My Own Worst Enemy was cheese.

Chicago Code was hyped to no end. Ratings fell off faster than Roddick's tennis game. Like me with Roddick, FOX had seen enough with Chicago Code.

Fringe has been renewed and was hoping for a night switch to a Tuesday or Thursday.
Unfortunate that it is remaining on Friday. They better plan for closure this season because the end is near with those Friday ratings.

Time to revamp the writing and focus on cases on a week to week basis like it was in seasons 1 and 2.

I swear we three would hang out in the same town. Completely agree w you Keg and Kick. Only one Ill add is the Killing which I think has great cinematography and ambiance. Loge the female detective.

I love "The Killing", but then again you can never go wrong with a AMC series.

Well ok, 'Rubicon' was kind of bland but I still watched it and it has already been killed off.

Two good shows sucks they got cancelled.

Also enjoy The Killing... reminds me of Twin Peaks if anyone remembers that show.

I see that CBS cancelled "The Defenders".

My wife and I found it entertaining. :shrug:

I guess the writing was on the wall when you get moved from Wednesday 10:00 PM to Friday 8:00 PM.

That is about the only show on the "cancelled" list that I watched, but there aren't a whole lot of shows that I watch anymore...

Sad to see Lie to Me go. That show was a lot of fun - he is a great character. Maybe it could be picked up on one of the cable channels and the subject matter could be made a little more adult - lots of possibilities there.
