WASHINGTON (AP) ? A new set of potential problems in Rep. Charles Rangel's financial papers has prompted the tax-writing lawmaker to hire a forensic accounting expert to try to unravel the mess.

Rangel, chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, is already the subject of ethics committee investigations on several fronts, including unreported income and unpaid taxes on his beach house in the Dominican Republic.

rangel shoud resign, so that the focus will not be on the little that he owes the tax payers and we can get back to millions and billions the right is costing Americans....If only mccain and the bush family were in rangels league........ I can't believe you even posted this...

I know you didn't say he should resign... I'm saying he should, just as I believe that anyone with questionable behavior towards a page or a minor should resign..... Are you defending sen craig ? if you have read my post over time, I don't know why your only card agaist me is the liberal one ? Most of the bush policies you have backed over the last 8yrs are very liberal & socialist..........the transferring of american wealth here at home and to foreign entities is the biggest in my lifetime....
