I am not one to pick on grammatical errors, as we all make them, but one mistake that occurs an a daily basis really gets to me.
It is not "alot", it is two words... "a lot"
As in:
"Hey, yyz? You pick a lot of losers in baseball!"
But, "allot" is a word!
"Yes, I do pick a lot of losers, but I allot myself several dollars per week to give to needy bookmakers!"
Please use the correct spelling of "a lot".
