I thought of you, Gravy, because I think you're in this business and will know about it.
I'd like to buy the equipment to have at home that I can use for bench pressing. I want what I'm familiar with, and I don't know if it's standard or not.
The bar was 45 pounds. The weights (plates I think they were called?) slipped on, and you didn't have to lock them down or anything. The plates weighed 5, 10, 25, and 45 pounds. (bar and a wheel on each side=135, bar and 2 wheels on each side 225). I think this is standard gym equipment, but I have no idea what the brand names are. I don't want cheap stuff like I have seen in the past that you have to lock with wing nuts.
What's all this going to cost me plus a good bench to use? What brand is it? I'd probably need about 300 pounds in combined plates.
Thanks.
