I like to jump on the UNDER first half line as soon as it gets to 24 and the UNDER total as soon as it hits 48....

Also -- going with the JETS at -3

I do not like the teaser play for the JETS in case the 49ers win by TD -- which could happen 17-10 or 44-37 thereby taking away a lot of values from this play -- game could be high or low scoring...Teaser in either case is in jeopardy.

none of my books show the total at 48 or 47.5 for that matter.

I am not gonna play this at 47. I think that number is pretty good.

New Freeze Play:

JETS -1.5 First half....
JETS -3 Game

Going to look for a middle if the JETS come out firing cuz I think they will and emotion will ride high, but the 49ers should make a comeback and give em a game the 2nd half.....

I am an idiot.

At least I still got back to even though with a lot of luck cuz I took the JETS second half for 2 units.

This turned out to be a pretty good game to tease either way if you were on the under. That number was pretty high and we gotta think that the MNF games are gonna be high this year and that maybe a tease up and play low is gonna be a solid play.

I think this is for a couple of reasons.
Colder weather -- tougher for QB to get a feel; and also defenses play better because they are more up for the game. Offenses get up for the game too, but you gotta think that in the 2nd half, when defenses normally tire out more quickly, that they are gonna reach down deep a little more often than normal.

However, I think in blowouts this will not apply. When we see so many people on both sides of an even spread -- I think that the chance of a blowout is small and that the game most likely will go according to planned - in that it will be close.

That being said, a teaser is the best play -- preferably on the dog -- and then letting the public first raise the lines, we get more points to work with on the under and the spread.

Next week is a different story though -- different game plan for us. Possibility of a rout is pretty good. However, you gotta think the Lions are using their off week to try to slow down the Rams. I think maybe we oughtta try to jump on the OVER and the RAMS right away before the public gets to em and then watch both totals go up and tease em down next week for a good middle opportunity.
