To all my bettting freinds: I live a little over two hours west of Greenbay. My freinds that are going to the game called and said that there is constant rain and around here 3 hours before kickoff there is freezing rain. By the time kick off there, there could be some weather conditions that you should consider.

I feel that neither team will be able to run due to shitty footing and good defense. Then comes which QB can play in the elements? Dah-Farve over the rookie. Where is Jackson from? Do you think he knows what weather and wind will do to a football?

Prediction: Greenbay 31 Vikes 9

Also keep an eye on Harris and Woodson to jump routes on Jackson, since the vike receivers dont come back to the ball!

Wind not a factor!

Wind not a factor!

The wind is 10-15mph at times. It shouldnt effect the ball too much. They will be able to pass, Just more worried about the freezing rain, and bad footing. I do like the over in a tease.

Who was the genius in the NFL office who thought that playing a night game in Green Bay, Wisconsin on December 21st was a good idea?

Its called football. The game was meant to be played in the elements. You dont think there could be freezing rain and/or snow in the afternoon on a sunday in december or should they just set the schedule so Green Bay can play all games in December in domes and warm weather environment.

At least you can watch the game. There are a large number of cable companies in Wisconsin that are not getting the game. If you dont have the dish with the NFL network you wont get the game. There are about ten taverns that will carry the game for approximately 100,000 possible people. The bars will be packed and tempers will be short with the bad weather. Tx Nfl Freezing rain and alcohol will be a great safe combination!:fit01:

GB can, and should, play home games in December. It's a good home field advantage. It's part of the game.

A night game, though, is a little much. A day game in GB will provide enough elements without making it a lower temp ordeal for players and fans.
If it can be mitigated (and it can by playing in daylight, when temps are normally higher),the game shouldn't be about survival. It should be test of skill and ability.

Are you serious?? survival?? I was at the Steeler game two weeks agon on Thursday night and it was much colder then what they are saying in Green Bay right now. If football cant be played in the 30's then where can it. You act like its 20 below. Trust me the fans of GB right now probably cant feel anything anyway but i would much rather watch a game with temp in the 30's then the teens and major wind like in Pittburgh two weeks ago. Get your facts and survival skills straight you goof.

maybe because people aren't going to pay thousands to sit in green bay in february to watch the superbowl you dope. people are paying to go to the superbowl to say they went for the experience not to sit outside in 5 degree weather.
