Qualifying: Saturday 7:00 am (eastern time)

Race: Sunday 8:00 am (eastern time)

I had to say that BAR suck to see them collecting their first points of the season last time out:p  And you know what? Magny Cours track is one of Villeneuve's favorite while Panis is driving at home so now i expect them to do well this weekend! Does it means i have to fade them? :)

This track is great and lots of drivers like it. However, hard to say if Montoya will steal. again. the pole from Michael. His teamate Ralf has been doing great here so he can mixt up the cards here. Weather will be a factor. It changes constantly at this place so a nice practice session in the morning and the set up for it could be totally diferent during afternoon. Have to take a look at it. Finally, will Arrows cars be there? They were still uncertain and cash flow problems... We'll see....

Later!

I have a hunch Barichello will get the pole this time. +120 vs. Montoya is tempting. There is a chance of rain in the forecast and if it rains Ferrari has a huge advantage over Williams.

BTW, did anyone else get in on Heidfeld over Massa qualifying matchup? They seem to have closed it now - probably either an error or they got clobbered on it with 1 way action. Massa beat Heidfeld only once this year in qualifying and that's when Heidfeld suffered mechanical problems.

Good for us to see Arrows team collide to not be part of the race during their qualifying session!:p I just wonder then why did they take part of the qualifying this morning ! (money money money... :violin: )

I took a chance on Massa over Heidfeld at huge odds. I'm watching and Massa is ahead of Heidfeld the whole time. Every time they do a recap Massa is ahead. They show the final order after qualifying is over and sure enough Heidfeld beat him. What is that all about?? Also has anyone heard an update on Fisichella?

Myron,

Massa lead the whole session except for the last try by Heidfeld at the end... (remind you Montoya trick?... )

About Fisi, he got injured in the last practice before qualifying and they wanted to check for concussion and he was going to pass a MRI scan later on today so he had to withdraw from the session...

I had a treble with Fischella over Sato in it with Bet365 - they are claiming that Sato is the winner as he would have had the highest grid position! Surely Fisi took no part in the session or the race + therefore it's a push. If that were the case we could have all lumped on Sato at the 7/4 they were offering after Fisi was in hospital!
I've spoken to them but I keep getting lame answers! Anyone know how all the other books have settled matches involving Fisi?

I can't see how he can have any grid position?

That's B.S. The driver has to attempt qualifying for action. He crashed in practice not qualifying. No time hence no action. Remedy this Bet 365 :nono:

Sia(Americanized English) treated as push
Poster at other forum had early bet on Fis at Oly(American) pushed and later bet on Sato 2.75 as a winner at Gamebookers(English)

Hoss, Myron is right. That's bull shit!!! It is a PUSH at 110%!!! No qualifying attempt so it is no action on him. They can't "imagine" that sato would have finished higher than Fisi, c'mon... that's BS and i can't imagine it is what they are doing. Talk to a manager, it is impossible to think Sato won that match ups!!!! There is a mistake somewhere or they are robbering you!!! :violin:

thats total bs on sato being graded winner over fisi.
if that is what bet365 did that is bordering on an "account closing" offense.

Hoss, let us know about your problem with bet365. I will close my account with them if they don't realize the mistake they made here. I keep looking at their motor racing rule and the only one concerning qualifying match ups regards Nascar/Busch series. It is then clearly stated that "Bets will be void unless the driver starts the qualifying lap. If any driver fails to start, bets are deemed no action. "

I took this on their own rulebook so why shouldn't it be the same in F1??? It has too! I'm so mad about your problem, it can't be a losing prop, the guy NEVER START OR HAS BEEN PART OF THE QUALIFYING SESSION !!! For God's sake!!! :nono:

Tell us what happened ok?

That would be like grading Al Unser Jr as a loser in any matchup for tonight's IRL race - the guy entered alcohol rehab yesterday.

the land of confusion
Hoss

I took the Sato v Fisi qualifying match-up with 365 figuring that the crash would have shaken Fisi up abit and that he had to come back from the medics with limited time to prepare for qual.
Took the punt at good odds thinking that they probably wouldn't pay anyway. They did!! Surprised me.
Every now and then you get one back on 'em!
