Yanks killed me yesterday. Didn't see Ramirez getting the job done or the Yankees basically laying an egg. Need to do more homework! Such is baseball though.
Went to the padres game last night, and witnessed the mere impossible rain delay, in my 30 years going to games have only seen a few! Enjoyed some good local beer and food with the wife for a couple hrs and then 7-runs on fister in the first 2. Bet them w/my local but didn't have time to post here, should have fired heavy as I felt the nats struggles in AZ would continue into San Diego on their 7 gm road trip. I know they took 2 of 3 but only with great luck. (Go-ahead grannie in the 9th)
Padres games continue to put up big runs at Petco Park and on the road (about 9.3/gm thru 36 gms.) With the fences moved further in again this season to open up more seating, it's playing a much different ballpark than I've ever seen (and it helps they finally spent some damn $ on some power) hopefully the power arms will start to become more consistent. Ross looked the best I've seen so far this year, I believe when he figs out his mechanics and the control stays consistent he'll be the true ace. I will be watching him closely.
Anyways just my opinion, thought I would share. Feeling good about this wknds series, hoping to get back on the winning side. BOL everyone!
