This is what I like to call away court advantage. There will be more UB fans then there will be Canisius fans. Just like every "home game" Canisius and Niagara have played against UB for the past 3 years. Call it a homer play, call it what you will. I'm off to the game.

UB is 1-14 against everyone, haha. And usually that 1 win has happened in the last 2-3 years. Reggie has turned the team around.

In the past UB basketball team hasnt had the fan base it does now. I am a graduate student. When i was a freshman we were lucky to have 50 students at a home game.

Since Turner Battle and Reggie turned this team around they have a sort of "cult" following from the students, me included, who watched them go from a dreadful team to an at large contender a couple of years ago. Now we take over rival cross town arenas. Should be a great game. I am excited. The game is sold-out I think.

As for ibidhi I think he is playing. He has been practicing the last few days and he did warm-up for our exhibition game.

The biggest worry I have for UB is their guard play.

Pharoah...Reggie has done a great job at UB.And when he 1st got the job I really thought it was a poor choice.I knew him when he coached at Sweet Home HS and then when he coached at ErieCC. I thought he was a terrible coach.When BU hired him it took him a few yrs but he got those Buffalo kids to stay home.The Buffalo-Rochester-Niagara area has great HS hoops.We coaches down south know that and fear or northern cousins.
Good luck tonite.Heebee scares me esp against Griffs frontline.Wilson is tough but if he picks up a few quick fouls I'm in trouble.Think Parrotta has been sitting next to head coaches for yrs.Tonite is his nite..at home.
