1) taking Chicago (A): M Buehrle -1.5 -125 ( 3 units)

didn't like the high chalk...so i took the -1.5 runline...and yes, the TIGERS are playing well of late...but that was AT HOME. I'm bankin that they continue their poor performance on the road as the WHO-SOX played well enough to take two of three from BOSTON ON THE ROAD.
Also helps that Buehrle lost his last start and is pitching at home...

WSOX are 7-3 in Buehrle's last 10 starts.
WSOX are 4-1 in Buehrle's last five starts vs. DET.
WSOX are 17-3 in the last 20 meetings.
Sparks teams are 3-7 in his last 10 starts vs. WSOX.
DET is 1-6 in their last seven on the road.

sorry shamrock....

3) taking New York (A): R Clemens -1.5 +100 ( one unit )
burkett's career stats VS the YANKS :

W/L 0-5
ERA: 10.95

CLEMONS career vs BOSTON:
WON 5, lost 2
ERA of 2.10

and it didn't help that the yanks lost last nite in a close one.
